Getting Rid of Nail Fungus

According to statistic's estimations there are about 10%-15% of the general population are suffering from toenail fungus. It is a terrible disease make your life uncomfortable at least and commonly even miserable.
Many of the people are not aware of the fact that they are suffering from the disease. However, some do aware but chose not to do too much about it. Anyway, you should know that there is a new weapon to fight this annoying disease.

What were your options until now?

Topical medicine (e.g., creams) - One of the problems with topical treatments is that the fungal spores reside in the nail bed securely protected by your nails. Topical nail products cannot penetrate deep through the nail plate to release the active ingredients into the epidermis of the skin under the nail, so treatment with topical are slow. Statistics say only a 10% success rate to topical. Toes should be treated with the first signs of damage. If left until they are so bad, thick and dark, the treatments becomes longer and more expensive and could become impossible.

Oral anti-fungal medications - can cause permanent liver and kidney damage. What’s more, they require regular blood tests to monitor any unwanted side effects. Topical medications require regular nail debridement followed with daily application of anti-fungal medications. Depending on the severity of the infection, it can be a long process to see any changes. Statistically the success rate of those medications is about 40-50%.

The new tool:
Cold laser treatment - there are no side effects, no age limitations and the success rate is about 80%. The will penetrate through the nail into the infected tissue leading to elimination of the nail fungus without harming healthy tissue or the nail bed.  Cold Laser treatment does not cause any pain or discomfort and you will be able to return to your regular activities immediately after treatment.
Patients should start notice improvement within 2 to 4 months, depending on how quickly their toenails grow and the severity of their fungus condition. New, clear growth begins to appear along the bottom of the nail as the diseased portion of the nail grows out. On average, it takes 10 to 12 months for the nail to completely grow out.
Laser is the best option in terms of rate of success and of course, without risking your health at all.
